Berea Elks Foster Kids Gift Drive

Let’s MAke The Holidays Special

The Berea Elks have partnered with the Ohio Department of Children & Family Services to support their “Hope for the Holidays” program.

Currently there are more than 2,000 kids just in Cuyahoga County alone in the foster care program, awaiting a permanent family.

The lodge received a $5,000 Gratitude Grant from the Elks National Foundation (ENF) so that we can sponsor 50 kids of varying ages across the county with gifts for the holidays.

We would like our members to help with the program. To participate, click the link below which will take you to an online spreadsheet. This spreadsheet will list each child, their age, gender, sizes, and notes about what they are wishing for this year.

Please put your name next to the child (or children) that you would personally like to shop for. The lodge will reimburse you up to $100 per child. If you wish to spend more, it will be considered an additional donation. We’re asking that anyone that does sponsor a child try to spend the full $100 so that we can fulfill our grant’s promise.

Please bring the gifts to the lodge, each marked for the child you shopped for. DO NOT WRAP THE GIFTS. All gifts need to be delivered to the lodge by Friday, November 28, 2025.

To get reimbursed, please complete a check reimbursement form at the lodge (available at the bar). You must have all receipts, clearly legible to receive reimbursement. Please allow up to 1-week for a check to be issued.
