For nearly 150 years, The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has been serving communities across the United States.

Berea Elks #1815

Chartered in July of 1950, the Berea Elks have been carrying on the rich tradition of Elkdom for more than 70 years serving the southwest communities of the greater Cleveland metropolitan area.

Founded by mostly NASA employees from the nearby NASA Glenn Research Center, the Berea Elks own and operate a private lodge facility in Berea's "Depot District", located in the North End of the city.

The Berea Elks work closely with childrens groups and organization, veterans, and those in need throughout the Southwest region of Cuyahoga County.

Berea Lodge is home to Past State President Bob Bojalad who served the Ohio Elks Association during the 1991-1992 state year, and this was the home lodge of Cleveland Browns Legend, Lou “The Toe” Groza who played 21 season for the Browns, winning 4 AAFC Championships and 4 NFL Championships. Lou was also inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1974 as a 6-time All Pro.
