S.C.A.N. Hunger Center
As part of the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland, The S.C.A.N Hunger Center in Berea serves families in need of nutrition assistance twice a month, providing food for three days worth of meals help fill gaps in other services in the area.
S.C.A.N. Hunger Center serves the Southwest communities of the greater Cleveland are including Berea, Strongsville, Olmsted Township, Olmsted Falls, Brook Park, Middleburg Heights, and Columbia Township.
Clients are assisted confidentially and respectfully from the S.C.A.N. main office at 85 S. Rocky River Drive in Berea.
Elks & S.C.A.N.
The Berea Elks regularly support non-perishable food drives to help keep food levels stable to operate the hunger center. Additionally, several Elks members regularly volunteer at the center assisting clients in their time of need.
